Mark 9 reveals that Kingdom glory is not meant to remain on the mountain. It must shape how we live in the valley. After seeing Jesus transfigured, the disciples face unbelief, failure, ambition, division, and the needs of vulnerable people. Jesus shows them that true greatness is found in prayerful dependence, humble service, radical surrender, and peace with one another. Kingdom maturity is not measured by spiritual experiences alone, but by whether those experiences make us look more like the King in everyday Kingdom life.
