John 1 invites us to move from hearing about Jesus to encountering Him personally. The eternal Word becomes flesh, revealing a God who comes near and makes the Father known. Witnesses may point us toward Jesus, but they cannot follow Him for us. Andrew, Peter, Philip, and Nathanael each respond to a personal invitation: come and see. Firsthand faith welcomes honest questions, receives a new identity, remains open to revelation, and grows through relationship with the One who already sees us.
